What is the Red Carpet Service Plan?
Thinkk of the Riccar Red Carpet Service Plan as VIP treatment for your vacuum. If you own a qualifying premium vacuum from Riccar, you get free tune-ups at scheduled intervals to keep it running like new. These tune-ups are performed by trained technicians at authorized Riccar retailers, so you know your vacuum is in expert hands.
Which Vacuums Qualify?
Not all Riccar vacuums come with the Red Carpet plan, so how do you know if yours does? First, check your vacuum for a Red Carpet Service Plan sticker. You'll find it on the back, side or inside the dust compartment. If your vacuum has this sticker, you're in luck! Your vacuum qualifies for no-charge maintenance. The following Riccar models are currently eligible:
- R40P Tandem Air
- R30D Tandem Air
- R27P and R27CV
- R25 Premium
- R17
- R10P and R10CV
To keep your service plan active, make sure your purchase data and name are recorded on the sticker. If you're unsure, ask your authorized Riccar retailer for help during your purchase.
What's Included?
Every Red Carpet Service Plan visit is a chance to get your vacuum cleaned, inspected, and fine-tuned. During the visit, your vacuum gets a new bag and filter to keep dust at bay; a full system cleaning to remove dirt buildup; and a thorough inspection of key parts, including the belt, agitator strips, hose (if applicable), full bag indicator, jam indicator, carpet height adjustment, floor selector switch, headlights, and suction and airflow.
What are the Service Intervals?
Here's when you should bring your Riccar vacuum in for Red Carpet Service Plan tune-ups:
- R40P: Tune-ups at 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years after purchase.
- R30D: Tune-ups at 2 years and 4 years after purchase.
- R25P, R27P, R10CV & R10P: Tune-ups at 1 year and 3 years after purchase.
- R27CV: Tune-up at 1 year after purchase.
- R17: Total of 17 tune-ups after purchase, at owner's discretion.
*Tune-ups should take place as follows: 1 year = 11-13 months after purchase; 2 years = 23-25 months; 3 years = 35-37 months; 4 years = 47-49 months; and 5 years = 59-61 months after purchase.
